PERSONAL TINGS (I didn’t forget the H in Tings 😄)

My goodness, can y’all believe it’s the end of the first quarter of the year already, April 1 is on Friday! Tell me, tell me, did we all meet our goals yet for this quarter? (I’m pushing hard to make it happen, we still have 4/5 more days!) I did manage to complete 2 books, one I’d been working on for 5 years (The Narrowness of Conservatism) and the other is a free eBook (Crypto 101 for Beginners). Tap this link and scroll down to get either book.

This week’s #CryptoDevo is focusing on getting us safely through the end of this quarter with a relentless mindset, as well as helping us to properly plan for Q2, because here’s the thing: I went through decades of my life planning nothing, and guess what I got in return? Nothing! Maybe a small promotion on 9-5 jobs that I had, that came with very small raises in pay. (Are they still giving 50 cents and $1.00 raises per hour like they used to?😩😒😏) If we don’t plan out our futures we’ll turn around and be 90 years old wondering what we did with our lives.

In my opinion the first thing on our lists in order to have success, should be self discipline. I went for years being undisciplined, not taking control of my mornings, having no vision for the future, waking up at the last seconds before I had to leave for work, booming R&B music all the way to work and car-dancing with more R&B all the way back home. Got home and relaxed with Living Single, Martin, A Different World, Cosby, and whatever else was fun on TV. No vision. People who have no vision will always return to their past. Over and over again. That was me, year after year.

Clearly, things have changed. I’ve been called a hustler lol, but I see it as being a go-getter, a person with initiative, someone who is industrious and aggressive in business, a diligent and hungry woman of God. I now take control of my mornings and fiercely guard my time. The results? Manifestations of peace, quality time to spend with Jesus, wisdom, money, sound decisions, better relationships, etc.

Be encouraged today to not just spend time with God and run off to work giving your time to your job and then going home and getting into bed. If we don’t consistently plan to succeed, then by default we are consistently planning to fail. Excuses are a sign that we love our comfort zones and we’re planning on staying there. If we don’t make the time to take care of our own futures, the future will be upon us and we won’t have the strength, the energy, or the money to live without someone else’s 9-5 job propping us up; and … we’ll probably have to work well into our 70’s, 80’s and possibly our 90’s taking care of ourselves paycheck to paycheck - because we don’t have anything much laid up to fall back on. Social security checks and government pensions aren’t enough for us to live properly! There’s nothing wrong with going to a 9-5 while you’re in your 80’s or 90’s if that’s what you really love doing, but to have to do it because you didn’t prepare for your future, is not a happy thought.

Start preparing NOW. Start investing NOW. Start building your side business NOW. Start being self disciplined NOW. I don’t care how tired you are when you get home, drink a smoothie and keep it moving, you’ve just spent 8 hours working for someone else and not even making enough money to take a nice vacation, so please don’t keep putting off working on yourself and working on your own business, time is moving by very quickly. Christmas will be here in just 272 days!🎄🎅🏾🎁😊
