WHERE CAN I SPEND MY CRYPTO?

Hey!

I’m sure you remember our discussion last week that we could purchase BTC or Altcoins and use them for long term, short term or exchange purposes. If you’re not buying the coins to hold (or if you’re buying some to hold, and some for short term projects) and you’d like to use your crypto for purchases, there are places that accept them!

STARBUCKS - You can now get your Caramel Latte or other fave coffee with Bitcoin if you use the Bakkt app (in your App store) to upload your Starbucks card!

YELP/RESTAURANTS - The YELP service currently allows users to filter for restaurants that accept cryptocurrency.

OVERSTOCK - This online closeout retail store currently accepts BTC for shopping on their website. I just checked it out and all you need to do after you send items to the shopping cart, is to click on the BITCOIN sign at checkout.

MICROSOFT - This company has been a super early adopter of Bitcoin, they’ve been accepting Bitcoin for games, apps, and other digital content. Bitcoin can also be redeemed as credit on your Microsoft account and used for Microsoft 365, XBox Live or Skype.

CHEAPAIR DOT COM - They’ve been and early adopter of Bitcoin as well, when they started accepting BTC as payment since 2013. They will now also receive payments in Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Ethereum (ETH), Gemini, (GUSD), Dai (DAI), USD Coin (USDC), Dogecoin (DGE) and others. You can pay for hotels and flights with cryptocurrency on their site, check it out.

You can also load the BITREFILL or the FOLD gift cards with BTC and use it as payment at Netflix, PayPal, AT&T, Home Depot and Wikipedia. I’m planning on using BTC to pay for renewing my website domain on Namecheap, and eagerly awaiting Uber to accept BTC which they’ve indicated they are working on right now. I’ll keep you posted!🙌🏾🚗🚕

There are also a host of other companies planning on using BTC. Even Eric Adams, the new Mayor of New York City wanted his first 3 paychecks paid to him in BTC and has plans to make New York City the center of cryptocurrency and other financial innovations! Thank you God! He just got his first paycheck last Friday deposited to Coinbase and turned it into BTC and ETH. Smart Mayor!✊🏾
