CRYPTO ALPHABET A - E!

I’m currently partnered up with someone to collaborate on another book, and the way the book is structured made me think about doing cryptocurrency terms in alphabetical order. 😜😬

Of course, I’m not going to do A through Z in one blog post so I’ll add a little bit of it in every post until I get to Z! So here we go!

A = ALTCOIN - An altcoin is any coin that’s not Bitcoin. Altcoins can be those coins with very little market value, or they can be the second most popular coin, Ethereum (ETC).

B = BITCOIN - The most valuable cryptocurrency there is, and also the first on the market. It was launched in 2009 and is still the most valuable thus far, although we are right now in what seems to be the middle of a crypto crash.

C = COINBASE - This is a popular cryptocurrency exchange. You can buy, sell, exchange, and stake your cryptocurrency on this exchange. Coinbase is the first cryptocurrency exchange to go public on the Nasdaq.

D = DECENTRALIZED (DeFi) - Decentralized banks or exchanges refer to entities that invest/store your finances without the middle man. The regular centralized banks e.g. Chase Bank, Wells Fargo, Bank of America, etc. - involve governments and central banks, but decentralized finances don’t.

E = ETHEREUM (ETH) - This is the second in command of the cryptocurrency chain; the second-largest crypto by trading volume. It is also a crypto network and a software platform that developers can use to create new applications. The coin associated with this platform is called ETHER.

OK folks, that’s it for today. If you think of any alphabet letters and what they stand for in crypto-world please let me know. I’ll have to eliminate some letters, but we’ll see as time goes by.

See ya tomorrow!♥️
