METAVERSE FLASHBACK

Happy Friday everyone!

This week we’ve been trolling the metaverse, lol! If you have questions, put them in the comments below and I’ll try my best to answer them, or find someone who can!

We talked about:

  • What the metaverse is and how it works (the metaverse is a shared virtual space that is interactive. It works on the blockchain and is accessed via the internet);

  • What can be done in the metaverse (play games, exercise, conduct meetings, hang out with friends, attend concerts, buy/rent real estate);

  • How to purchase real estate in the metaverse (you need a crypto wallet (see Crypto Devo dated 3-3-2022 to see how to obtain a crypto wallet and how to purchase);

  • Why would anyone want to purchase digital property if they cannot see it or live in it or touch it (it’s not about what you can do with it, it’s about how much you can make when it appreciates in value);

I planned on also getting into Decentraland this week but there was a lot to talk about with the Metaverse, so maybe that’s what we’ll hit on next week, I’ll be led!🤔😉

I hope you have a weekend doing a lot of fun things! Even if you stay at home this weekend, do something special for yourself, it’s self-care weekend! Ideally, we should be doing something nice for ourselves at least once per week: Buy yourself some flowers, go to the movies, attend a sip n paint, rent a bike and ride for a couple of miles, take yourself out to dinner, hang out with a friend at a coffee shop. There are lots of things to do!
