FRIDAY FLASHBACK!
If you’ve been looking forward to the weekend, it’s here! And… it’s also the first day of the 2nd quarter of 2022. Please, please, please, write out your goals (write them in pencil because they’re subject to change), and have a plan for the 2nd quarter, especially if you’re like me and didn’t quite reach all your goals for the first quarter.
I know it’s Flashback Friday but before I share what we talked about this week, I’m going to share about where I’m at. To me, this is one of the strangest seasons of my life that I’ve ever been in. I’ve always known who Sherma is/was but this time around there’s something different, there’s a new me with new requirements. I could describe it as weird for lack of a better word. Years ago I heard the Holy Spirit saying that God was creating divergence in my life. I thought: Yeah, let’s go! (To diverge is to separate from one route and go in a totally different direction). Well hallelujah, that’s something new! (What I didn’t really count on was how many different directions there would be!)
But then BOOM! Something new did start shortly after when by a miracle I shifted from doing ‘a lil business on the side’ to full time entrepreneur pounding the Brooklyn, Queens and Harlem sidewalks in search of businesses to purchase my merchandise. Since then there have been many rollercoaster twists and turns in my life and I sense another twist coming down the pike.
What is it, Sherma? Welp! I don’t have a clue, but I know that it’s all God and there’s a tremendous amount of peace that comes with it. I do have 2nd quarter goals penciled into my planner, and they’re penciled in because they are subject to change. I want to encourage you to leave yourself, your life, your mind, completely open to the moving of the Holy Spirit and let Him lead! Maybe you think you should be doing this thing over here, and maybe you really should, but the timing could be wrong. That’s OK! Maybe you thought you would be living in a particular city for another year or two, but maybe you have to make a move this month of April instead; that’s OK as well. Maybe you thought you would retire in 6 months but you’re having to retire this month, it’s all good because YOU ARE BEING LED BY GOD’S SPIRIT!
It’s OK to not know everything, just keep on trusting God because you can be sure that He will give you enough light to take the very next step. When you take that step, you’ll receive more light to take another step! You will NEVER be in the dark, Jesus is the light of this world! I hope you are emboldened and charged in your spirit to be sensitive to the voice of God by meditating on the Word of God as much as you can; and by listening with the ears of your inner heart so you can be accurately led! Journeys that are led by the Holy Spirit are the best ever!
So this week we created a divergence (lol!) from the regular cryptocurrency conversations. We talked about some personal TINGS concerning pressing towards the finish line for our 1st quarter goals; working on discipline and planning; ignoring the impostor syndrome by speaking positive things to ourselves; getting paid more than Hillary Clinton for our speeches; making sure our frying pans are large enough for the fish we’re catching; and living completely open to the moving and leading of the Holy Spirit!
Next week we’ll go back to Crypto conversations and we’ll be talking about air drops and hard forks - what they are, what’s the difference between them both, and how/if we can benefit from them. We’ll also touch on filing taxes if you’ve purchased or sold crypto and NFTs. We’re going to have a lot of crypto fun next week, until then … enjoy the weekend!
