JACK DORSEY'S NFT TO SELL FOR HOW MUCH??😱 🤯😳🤑
If you’ve been hanging around Crypto Devo for any length of time I’m sure you’ll remember when we talked about Jack Dorsey’s first tweet being sold.
Jack is the former CEO of Twitter. The first-ever tweet that he posted in 2006 was turned into an NFT and sold about one year ago for $2.9M. Well, guess what I found out about that same NFT’d tweet?
The person who got the NFT (Sina Estavi), said in a tweet yesterday that he wants to sell Jack Dorsey’s first tweet as an NFT for 14,969 Ether (that’s about $48.3 million).😳 Listen! That is approximately 16 times what he paid for it a year ago!🤯
He’s serious about it too, because the NFT is now listed for that price on the NFT marketplace called Open Sea. That’s a steep price for pretty much a picture of a tweet don’t you think? Sure there is a verified owner, but if it sells for $48 million dollars that would put digital assets in the same price range as other works of art from pretty famous people!
Pablo Picasso’s most expensive painting was sold at an auction here in New York for $179.6 million dollars. Could we possibly see digital art creeping up to those exotic prices? Oooooh! (And wait …. you do know that there wasn’t a whole lot of artwork put into that image right? It was a copy of a tweet that was NFT’d, what in the world?
Anyway, the point of all of this was to let you know about the NFT being re-sold. If it really sells for that price, then Jack Dorsey the original owner of the NFT will get a nice hefty cut from the re-sale! I love that aspect of NFT’s - you’re always going to get some cha-ching🤑 every time your NFT re-sells! These are new ways of making money that have never before existed and I want in!🤸🏿♀️
Maybe NFTs aren’t your thing but get some BTC/crypto, the prices are projected to go through the roof pretty soon. Can you imagine if you bought 10 BTC in 2015 when it was just a little over $200 you would have spent just $2K to purchase it. As of today, April 7th, BTC was almost $44K, you do the Math.🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑
