FRIDAY FLASHBACK!

UPDATE: This should have been posted on Friday 😩😩😩 but here we go!

Hopefully, after Wednesday’s and Thursday’s posts you have plans to get some free crypto this weekend! I know mine is! I’m not missing out on a chance to get cryptocurrency for free especially when I know that the asset can potentially increase in value! I don’t care if it increases in one year or one week - I didn’t pay for it, and I’m going to gain from it!

But, it’s Friday so let’s touch on what we talked about this week:

ADVANTAGES OF DEFI: (1) The interest rates are attractive; (2) there are lower transaction fees than CeFi’s; (3) there is no middle man to take a cut; (4) no broker fees; (5) no pressure and/or credit checks if you want to borrow money (you’re borrowing from yourself anyway🤷🏾‍♀️); (6) the blockchain keeps track of every transaction and makes it available to whosoever will; (7) transactions are open, transparent and accountable, and the best one of all … (8) this technology has already made over 100K millionaires according to CBS News! DISADVANTAGES OF DEFI: (1) Market volatility is something to pay attention to because the coins can soar and/or drop with alarming regularity; (2) it requires a huge mental shift that many don’t want to take, as well as a learning curve; and (3) there are many skeptics.

FREE CRYPTO! WHERE AND HOW TO GET IT! See yesterday’s post for a list of some of the companies offering free cryptocurrency for different reasons. Mostly the companies just want to get the coin in circulation so the free crypto is used as a marketing lure. (There is also something called an AIRDROP of crypto that we will chat about soon.)
